Professional Fees

There are standard fees for different types of consultations.

  • On enquiry, you will be offered the opportunity to meet your therapist via telephone or video-conferencing before deciding whether to engage in an assessment appointment. Free meet for 15 minutes
  • Assessment – local, easily accessible, non-intimidating meeting to explore what help you need. $200 for 90 minutes
  • Therapy appointments – ongoing meetings after your assessment for as long as you decide (funding permitting). $180 for 50 minutes
  • Follow-up – accessible affordable shorter meetings available after therapy has finished. $80 per 30 minutes (these are not Medicare rebated)

We are committed to ensuring accessibility to clinical psychology services. Reduced fees (low or no gap) payments are available for those who need it. Please discuss this with us prior to booking your first appointment.

Report writing, letters and telephone conversations do not attract any further fees.

Please note we are not currently writing court or workers compensation reports.

 

Medicare

You may be eligible for a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP.  Please discuss your situation with your GP who can advise you about your eligibility. With a plan you are entitled to a Medicare rebate of $129.55 at each session.  We can process your rebate directly through our clinic and it will be refunded to you within 24-48 hours.

 

Missed / Late Cancelled Appointments

Please provide at least 24 hours notice to cancel an appointment. This helps us to keep your session costs down, maximise our availability to clients and minimise lost clinical time. Appointments missed or rescheduled without 24 hours notice will incur a dishonour fee of $100. Please pay this prior to your next scheduled appointment. It is important to note that third party funders (Medicare and private health insurers) do not pay late cancellation or missed appointment fees. These are your responsibility even if your treatment is normally funded by a third party.

If you provide us with a mobile number or email address, a reminder message can be sent the day before your appointment to help you remember our commitment. If you are ever in doubt, please feel free to contact us to confirm an appointment.

 

Payment Methods

You may pay online securely using the Stripe link on your invoice or via electronic bank transfer. You can also pay in cash if you wish to do so at the time of your appointment.
